Default Individual name color for friends.

Had a thought while ABing this weekend, just a tiny little idea I thought would be cool and maybe handy to others as well.

Often when I AB I will "cntrl" to see if any alliance buds are around and thought it would be cool to have a similar color change to the name of the guild tag or character name for people on your friends list so you could quickly see if anyone you know, have teamed with in the past, etc, is in AB or even PvE areas.

Basically the same system as the alliance tag color differentiation but for your friends list.

Only a tiny thing but I'd find it handy.

Not a bad idea, but I'd put it way down low on my priority list if I was on the development team.

Personally I care more about checking for people from my friends list than I do whatever alliance I'm in, if I'm in one at all.

I don't even care to think right now. Perhaps yellow can differentiate between friend and pug.

I've heard this more than once.
I'll bet you'll find it using the forum search.
My answer is (more or less) always the same:

* Leave the current gold-like color for characters in your guild.
* Use silver-like color for people in your alliance.
* Use copper-like color for people in your party.
* Use green color for people in your friend list.
* Use red color for people in your ignored list.
When people has no guild tag, append to the name {Friend} and {Ignored} instead.

And all set.

Yeah I thought of this multiple times. Friends > Alliance members imo.

I think it's pretty silly to have to sign the same basic idea over and over because it hasn't been done yet, but if that's what it takes...
